How to Mint a Token in the Jungle:
1
Connect Your Wallet
Connect your web wallet by clicking on the "Connect Wallet" button at the top right of the screen.
2
Name Your Token
Enter the name of your token.
3
Enter the Symbol
Enter the token symbol. The symbol must contain a minimum of 2 characters and a maximum of 10.
4
Upload Your Token Logo
Upload your token logo or image in PNG or JPG format. For best results, use a square image, ideally 1000x1000 pixels.
5
Add a Description
Write a brief description of your token’s purpose or standout features.
6
Include Social and Web Links (Optional)
Enter social and web URLs. These fields are optional, so you can leave them blank if preferred.
7
Customize Your Contract Address (Optional)
Select the vanity address option to personalize the first or last 4 digits of your token contract address.
8
Revoke Key Authorities
Choose the authorities you want to revoke. SPL tokens on Solana have three key authorities: Freeze Authority, Mint Authority, and Update Authority. Revoking these authorities can make the token more appealing to potential investors.
Mint authority: (Optional) Revoking mint authority permanently disables the ability to mint additional tokens for that specific token.
Freeze authority: Revoking freeze authority removes the ability to freeze or unfreeze token accounts, preventing control over account activity. Revoking freeze authority is mandatory to meet the requirements for creating a liquidity pool.
Metadata authority: (Optional) Revoking metadata authority removes the ability to modify the token's metadata, making its details immutable.
9
Configure Tax Settings:
- Tax percentage – Set the buy/sell tax rate for your token. For example, if the entered value is 5, a 5% fee will be applied to every buy and sell transaction.
- Max Fee – The maximum fee that can be charged on a single buy/sell transaction.
- Authority wallet – Leave blank if you do not want to change your buy/sell tax in the future. Enter the wallet address that will have the authority to change the tax if you plan to adjust it in the future.
- Withdraw authority – The wallet address that will have the authority to withdraw collected fees. If you leave this field empty, you will not be able to collect the fees.
10
Use Extensions:
Please do not edit these fields unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing.
11
Create Your Token
Click the "Create Token" button and confirm the transactions using your web wallet.
12
That's it!
After confirming all required transactions, your token contract address will be generated and displayed below the form, along with a link to SolScan. Your newly minted tokens will also appear in your connected wallet.
